This video from May 2010 shows the potential of our Suzuki Swift Sport on the Nurburgring as well as the impressive track expertise of R4R-Owner and ex-professional racecar driver Fredy Lienhard. The Bridge to Gantry (BTG)-Nurburgring time with our Stage 3-Swift is 8.28. Now consider that Fredy's co-driver on this lap weighs about 200 pounds which means that he certainly would have even been several seconds quicker without a pax onboard.
It once again proves that having a blast on the Nordschleife is only to a lesser degree the result of expensive horsepower in abundance. Especially for those who are looking for a good time on the Nurburgring during Touristenfahrten and Track Days, without having hundreds or even thousands of laps under their belt. By the way: Even the experts who do are amazed by the fun and excitement 150 horsepowers on four wheels can cause.
The 130hp Stage 2 Swifts are almost as agile and we are sure that the smiles on your face will be as bright, and the adrenaline rush as intense as in the Stage 3 Swift which you see in the video. The Stage 3 edition truly unfolds its full potential in the hands of the very experienced Nurburgring petrolhead. We always recommend to start with Stage 1 or 2 if you are rather new to the Nurburgring and work your way up to Stage 3 from there.
A responsive, easy to handle Nurburgring rental race car with a well balanced setup plus semi-slicks which we put on every car is what you need. The remarkably low weight (950 Kilos for the Suzuki Swift Stage 3 Swift) is achieved with weight reduced body parts. Needless to say that the interior is stripped almost to the bone. Enough said. Enjoy!
