Is it required to wear a helmet during Touristenfahrten on the Nurburgring?

We provide helmets (with a €50 cash deposit against theft or damage) if you choose to wear one and didn´t bring your own.

It is not mandatory to wear a helmet during tourist sessions though. In fact the vast majority of public drivers do not wear a helmet.
